SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City’s participation in the FOX12 Drive 55 promotion will end on January 31. Attached is a
letter from Gayle Winnett and Nadine Buscher of FOX12, inquiring about the City’s continued
participation. The campaign will cost $3,300 for six months or $1,800 for three months.
As of January 1, the FOX12 Drive 55 website link had recorded 110,468 ‘impressions’ and the
Drive 55 page had been viewed 911 times.
No funds were budgeted in FY07 to continue the program.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Provide direction to staff regarding Council’s intent.
