SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On February 6, 2007 the McCall Planning and Zoning Commission (Commission) held a regularly
scheduled and noticed public hearing for purpose of evaluating three (3) land use applications associated
with the McCall – Donnelly School District Expansion. After considering all public testimony, the
Commission recommended to the McCall City Council, approval of the conditional use permit, scenic
review and design review land use applications.
The Commission found that the conditional use permit (CUP) application met the requirements of MCC
3.13.03; the scenic route (SR) application was in accordance with the provisions of MCC 3.7.03 and the
design review (DR) application consistent with the City of McCall Design Guidelines as referenced in
MCC 3.16.01. The Commission recommended approval of these three land use applications by the McCall
City Council subject to certain conditions. The conditions of approval are found in the accompanying staff
report.
The complete land use file is available for public review during normal working hours in the Community
Development Department located at the McCall City Hall, 216 East Park Street, McCall, Idaho 83638.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the staff report findings & conclusions for the conditional use permit; scenic route and design
review applications associated with the McCall–Donnelly School District Elementary School Expansion,
and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
