SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall statutes do not address who has authority to sign final plats requiring the
mayor’s signature in his or her absence. Council President Bailey has signed the Aspen Ridge
Phase III Final Plat in Mayor Robertson’s absence. Staff anticipates that Council President Bailey
will also need to sign the Lick Creek Meadows Phase 2 in Mayor Robertson’s absence.
This Council action is required to clearly authorize Council President Bailey’s actions on these
matters in Mayor Robertson’s absence.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Ratify the Council President’s signature on the Aspen Ridge Phase III Final Plat and
authorize the Council President to sign the Lick Creek Meadows Phase 2 Final Plat in the
Mayor’s absence.
