SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On June 4, 2007 the McCall Planning and Zoning Commission (Commission) held a regularly scheduled
and noticed public hearing for purpose of evaluating a final plat subdivision with a planned unit
development overlay for Merganser Lake development. Approval of this land use action allows the
construction of five (5) guest cabins, a clubhouse, and eight (8) single-family lots on approximately 11.4
acres.
The Commission found that these land use applications met the requirements of the former McCall City
Code Title’s 3 and 9 that were in effect until March 2006. The Commission recommends to City Council
approval of these two land use applications with the proposed gates removed. Staff has reviewed the
application for sufficiency and believes all conditions of approval have been met.
The complete land use file is available for public review during normal working hours in the Community
Development Department located at the McCall City Hall, 216 East Park Street, McCall, Idaho 83638.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the findings and conclusions for Merganser Lake Final Plat Subdivision (SUB-05-08) and the
accompanying planned unit development overlay (PUD-05-03) and authorize the Mayor to sign all
necessary documents.
