SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Council conducted a public hearing re recommended fee increases on August 23. The
recommended fee increases were noticed twice, Aug 9 & 16, per Idaho Code . 63-1311A.
Council deliberated regarding the fee increases following the public hearing and changed two
recommended fees, each regarding the Airport; (1) Assignment Fee, eliminate the 1%, making it
a “not to exceed” fee, with actual time and material charged, (2) The commercial snow removal
and commercial operator permit are deferred to be included in the minimum standards. Council
directed staff to prepare a resolution adopting these fees, effective October 1, 2007. The
resolution is attached.
The projected combined new revenue for each department is Police: $2280, Library: $351, Parks
& Rec: $500, Airport: $26,138 TOTAL: $29,269.
The Department Heads will be present to answer questions, at the Council meeting.
