SUMMARY STATEMENT: D.E.W, Granite Holdings (Salmon) and the airport have resurveyed the area
around their leases to square up the leases. This action also leases the space out to the taxi-lane safety area.
Easements are withheld on the easterly 44’ including 7’ for highway 55, 25’ for landscaping, and 12’ for
access. 50’ is also withheld for access on the southerly side of the Granite lease. This will make both
parcels larger, will utilize land that is not practicable to be used for other purposes, and will allow the
leassees the opportunity to present plans to build new facilities.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That City Council approve the D.E.W. lease amendment, instructing staff to
record the applicable easements, legal descriptions and lease amendment.
