Regular meeting
August 1 1939
Mayor Molander called the meeting at 7:45 P.M.
Memebre present: Anderson,Jordan,Sanden, idmaier. Absent Tinker
and Venable.
The clerk read the minutes of the meeting of July 7 which were
approved.
The communications were read and filed by the clerk.
The finance committe approved the following bills:

for the amounts.Motion Carried.
Several truck drivers came before the board and asked that there
should be no license for peddling fruit on -the street.No action
was taken
Sanden mov ,Widmai seconded:To ad ourn. Motion carried.

Regular Meeting
Sept.5 1939.
Mayor Molander called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M.
Members present:Andersojn,Jordan,Sanden,Vebable and Widma.ier.
Tinker had moved out of town.
Minutes of the regular meeting of Aug. l were read and approved.
Mr.Pennington of Fort Collins was present and asked the board what
they were going to do with the trees in the park as he said they
needed t riming, There was nothing done at this time but later in
the meeting the beard decided to have Mr.Bollinger of Greeley trim
the trees. The matter was left to the Park committee.
After discussing the vacany made by Wm.Tinker moving away,
Anderson moved,Widmaier seconded:That the Mayor appoint two members
as a nominating committee to nominate a man to fill the place
left vacant by Wm.Tinker.All voted aye.
Mr. Molander then appointed Venable and Sanden to consult Ray
Burmanabout accepting the place.
The board had been asked to have an ordinance passed prohibiting
the sale of fire works. and also the firing of the same. -After some
discussion they decided to ask for a petition.
It was then decided to have Lester Hotaling oversee the work
on repairing the pump house. The work was to be done by men who
owed water bills.
