SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Tamara Sandmeyer, McCall Area Chamber of Commerce Director, is requesting that the City of
McCall approve the closure of Park Street between Second Street and Highway 55 on Saturday,
January 26, 2008, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. for the McCall Winter Carnival 2008 Polar Plunge
event.
The Polar Plunge event is co-sponsored by the McCall Fire and EMS Department and the Special
Olympics.
Attached is a letter from Ms. Sandmeyer, further explaining the request, as well as a map showing
the requested street closure.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the closure of Park Street for Saturday, January 26, 2007 for the Polar Plunge event
during Winter Carnival 2008.
