SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On March 8 the Council heard a brief presentation from ZaDean Auyer, the lead consultant responsible for
developing the draft Strategic Plan.
The Council has previously received a copy of the Valley/Adams County Regional Economic Development
Strategic Plan for review. The Executive Summary is attached.
Shawn Charters, of Community Partners, will be present to address any questions that the Council may
have.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Provide direction regarding adoption of the Valley/Adams County Regional Economic Development
Strategic Plan.

SUMMARY STATEMENT:
ZaDean Auyer will briefly present the Valley/Adams County Regional Economic Development
Strategic Plan to the Council, and review the key elements of the Plan. She will also discuss the
method of adoption, including a Memorandum of Understanding between each of the governing
boards.
The Council has previously received a copy of the Valley/Adams County Regional Economic
Development Strategic Plan for review.
