SUMMARY STATEMENT:
We have received five letters of application to be appointed to the Airport Advisory Committee (AAC)
from (attached):
John Seevers, present member and Chairman
Gordon Eccles, present AAC member
Rik Poston, pilot, retired developer, hangar owner
Greg Saucier, commercial pilot, Saint Alphonsus Life Flight
Bill Keating, experienced McCall Airport veteran
There was a quorum at the March 1, 2007 AAC meeting, but because one of the members present was being
considered for appointment; he could not participate in the discussions nor the vote. This left only two
AAC members to make a recommendation. The AAC voted to send the applicants to City Council for
consideration. In the future, the AAC is also seeking guidance on the makeup of the AAC, and if the
committee should be involved in making recommendations for membership. The letters of interest are
attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
The AAC recommends that City Council appoint two of the five applicants to two year terms starting
April 1, 2007.
