SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On February 8, 2007 CH2M Hill provided the City and Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ)
with updated information on the capacity limits of the City wastewater treatment and disposal systems.
The information updates the number of Equivalent Dwelling Units (EDU’s) available for the 2006 values,
such that the total number of EDU’s in the winter storage facility is 1,654 and the number of EDU’s
available with the two year additional land application is 1,505.
The City staff has analyzed the information and proposes new wastewater building permit allocations and
accompanying policy changes.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution Number 07-5 and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
