ORDINANCE NO. 50-2014
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2014 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2014 on October 21, 2013 with Ordinance 51-2013; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one
major budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, The transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1,1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, This transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2014 budget be amended as follows:
A. Local Road and Street Fund
1. Delete $25,000.00 from Other Contractual Services
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.3990
2. Add $25,000.00 to Fleet Gasoline & Maintenance
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.2211
3. Delete $120,000 from Hot/Cold Mix
Account number 210.18.180.180.000.2363
4. Add $120,000 to Other Equipment
Account number 210.18.180.180.000.4490
Passed and adopted this 2 day �014, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
