SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee recommends the appointment of Carl Barrett, beginning
immediately and expiring October 2009. This appointment will fill the vacancy caused by Ron Rooth’s
departure before his term was completed.
As stated in the Advisory Charter: Person appointed to fill an unexpired term shall be appointed for the
balance of that term.
Attached is Carl Barrett’s letter of interest.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the appointment of Carl Barrett to serve until October 2009 on the Parks and Recreation
Advisory Committee.
