AUTHORIZING CARTERET COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT TO REQUEST FUNDING FOR THE WEST CARTERET
(ROOSEVELT AVENUE) BUSINESS DISTRICT REVITALIZATION
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, Middlesex County, seeks to revitalize the
downtown business area as a means to increase their economic viability by
providing streetscape improvements; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret hereby authorizes the Director of Community Development
to seek funding from the Middlesex County Downtown and Business District
Improvement Fund that would facilitate the economic growth and revitalization of
the West Carteret (Roosevelt Avenue) Business District.
