SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Clint Stennett, through E-DA-HOE, owns and operates Channel 13, the cable leased access channel in
McCall, as well as Broadcast Channel 13 in Ketchum. E-DA-HOE has been awarded a Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) Construction Permit for a Low Power TV license in McCall.
In September 2006, E-DA-HOE entered into a one-year lease with the City to install transmission facilities
on the existing tower on the former water tank site. The tower has been used by Charter Communications
(and their predecessor) for many years.
E-DA-HOE is in the process of selling the FCC license to Plum TV, Inc. Mr. Stennett has requested an
assignment of their lease to Plum TV, Inc. and an extension of the lease for one year. See attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the consent to assignment of the transmission tower lease from E-DA-HOE to Plum TV, Inc.;
extend the lease to December 31, 2007; and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
