AWARDING BID FOR STREET SWEEPER
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carterct needs to award a bid for a Street Sweeper; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has solicited and received one (1) bid proposal for said
Street Sweeper, as follows:
1. Beyer Bros. Corp.
109 Broad Ave. Rts. 1&9
Fairview, NJ 07022
$124,925.00
-70,000.00 Trade In
$ 54,925.00 Balance Due
WHEREAS, Beyer Bros. Corp. has submitted the lowest bid for said Street Sweeper as
evidenced by the response of fi Ie with the Borough Purchasing Agent; and
\VHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer certified that funds are or will be available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
ofCarteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to enter into a
contract with Beyer Bros. Corp. for the sum of $54,925.00 in accordance in
all respects with the request for proposals and bid on same.
