SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached is the Pre-Application for AIP 12. The Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) typically awards this
grant in late June, and requires the signed grant back not later than June 30. This request is to pre-approve
the acceptance of the anticipated grant award.
The total project includes approximately $54,917.00 for the LPV Survey (Localizer Precision with Vertical
Guidance), $160,000 for runway rehabilitation. Federal funds are anticipated to be $199,998 with City of
McCall grant match of $5,264 and $5,264 in State of Idaho grant match. Until State Aeronautics awards
the grant match, we cannot guarantee this portion of the funding.
The amount of the grant will depend upon the actual bids received, and the amount of funds available for
FAA to approve.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Pre-approve the award of an AIP grant from FAA and authorize the Mayor to sign the grant offer when
received.
