SUMMARY STATEMENT:
City Staff recommends that Council adopt Resolution No. 07-8 to remove any doubt whether the City
authorized the filing of a professional malpractice action against the City’s former attorneys in connection
with the J-Ditch Phase II case.
Defendants in the case have challenged whether the decision to file the action was authorized properly.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Resolution 07-8 and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
