SUMMARY STATEMENT: Sage Community Resources, Inc. is the organization recognized by the U.S.
Economic Development Administration as the entity responsible for developing an economic plan for a 10
county region, which includes Valley County. Each year Sage Community Resources compiles a list of
projects that counties and cities have identified as important to the economic development of their
respective area. In order to be eligible for grants offered by EDA, a project must be identified in the CEDS
plan.
Attached is the list of projects identified by staff as those that might be eligible for federal funding and that
relate to the economic development of McCall. Projects are prioritized as I (in the next year), II (in one or
two years), or III (future) based on project date of implementation.
Also attached is the list of 2006 Project List. This year’s list is basically the same, with some minor
changes in prioritization and dollar amounts.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the list of projects and authorize submission to Sage Resources for inclusion in the 2007-08
CEDS plan.
