SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Area Chamber of Commerce has submitted an application to obtain a permit for conducting a
fireworks display in connection with the July 4, 2007 Celebration. The date of the display will be
Wednesday, July 4, 2007. The Chamber has executed an agreement with ELITE PYROTECHNICS, LLC
for conducting the display over Payette Lake. Deputy Fire Chief Andrew Lemberes reviewed the proposal
from ELITE PYROTECHNICS, LLC with the Chamber of Commerce and has recommended approval for
the permit. Police Chief Jerry Summers has also reviewed the Chamber’s application and recommends
approval. ELITE PRYOTECHNICS, LLC provided the City with a certificate of insurance evidencing
liability coverage for personal injury and property damage in the amount of $1,000,000 and naming the City
as an additional insured.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the fireworks display permit for the McCall Area Chamber of Commerce July 4, 2007
Celebration and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
