RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REFUND OF
SEWER CONNECTION FEE - 12 SHAROT STREET
WHEREAS, CVT Builders, Inc., has advised the Borough that a visual and video
inspection of an existing sewer connection can service the proposed residential
development of Block 143, Lot 18, commonly known as 12 Sharot Street, and
that a new connection is not required; and
WHEREAS, CVT Builders has previously deposited with the Borough a
$3,000.00 sewer connection fee as required for a new cOll11ection and has
subsequently requested a refund of the same because a new connection is not
required as indicated above; and
\VHEREAS, CVT's request for a refund has been reviewed and approved by the
Borough Engineer; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Cartcret that the request by CVT Builders, Inc., for a refund of the
$3,000.00 sewer connection fee for Block 143, Lot 18, commonly known as 12
Sharot Street, is hereby approved, as recommended by the Borough Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Borough's Finance/Purchasing
Department is hereby authorized to process a refund as provided for herein.
