Mr. Iglehart, President of Candelaria Inc, submitted plans
to the Planning Board for review consisting of four apartments
located on Shore Road. Due to a considerable amount of water
standing on Shore Roard it was brought to the attention of
the Bath and Tennis Club and Mr. Iglehart who share in this
problem that something must be done concerning drainage
before the Town could give Mr. Iglehart a permit to build.
Mr. Chapin stated that the Bath and Tennis Club has already
made a study of the drainage problem and plans were submitted
to the Board of Governors of the Bath and Tennis Club and
were approved but work had been delayed pending knowledge of
an apartment building to be built by Mr. Iglehart so the
two could work out the drainage problem together.
Mr. Iglehart stated he wanted to make it very clear its a
mutual problem and should be approached mutually and each
going fifty fifty. The Board agreed that this was perfectly
reasonable.
The Planning Board advised Mr. Chapin and Mr. Iglehart to
work out a solution to this problem and come before the
Planning Board as soon as possible so there is no delay in
issuing a permit.

Mr. Chapin informed the Board that Mr. Whittemore is
Chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee and had all
the data on the drainage and would not return to the Town
before the 1st of October.
Meeting was adjourned pending notification from Mr. Chapin
regarding a future date to resume discussion of this
problem.
Respectfully submitted,
