RESOLUTION NO. 2020-006
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND
CHAPTER 21, LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES, FOR THE NUMBER OF
MEMBERS
Whereas, The City recognizes that Chapter 21, Library Board of Trustees, needs to be
amended, and;
Whereas, The number of trustees listed in the ordinance does not match the number of
trustees listed in the 28E Agreement with the Clear Creek Amana School District;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a
public hearing for February 4, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. to amend the ordinance to reflect 10
trustee members instead of 8 trustee members.
On the 21s' day of January, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiff in, Iowa,
C(,)uncilperson havens introduced RESOLUTION NO., 2020-006, A RESOI UTION
SETTING THE, DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND CHAPTER 21,
LIBRARY BOARD OF' TRUST'EES, FOR "THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS arid made a
motion for approval, Motion seconded IDYCOLM(Aperson Schnedler"

Whereupon five Council mernbers were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2020-006, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE
FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND CHAPTER 21, LIBRARY BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, FOR THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 21s' day of January, 2020.
