SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On January 10 the Council denied CA-07-07 on a 3-1 vote (Mayor Kulesza, Council Member Kraemer and
Council Member Briem voted in favor, Council Member Bailey voted against, Council Member Scott
abstained). Reconsideration of an action is allowed, as long as a Council Member who voted in the
affirmative brings forward the motion to reconsider. Mayor Kulesza intends to bring such a motion, for
Council discussion.
Attached are several documents:
1. the original materials for AB08-07
2. a proposed amendment to CA-07-07 submitted by Council Member Bailey on January 10
3. a draft ordinance, incorporating Council Member Bailey's proposed amendment
AB08-21, also on the January 24 agenda, recommends that the Council direct staff to work with interested
parties and the community in a participatory forum to develop a Zoning Code Amendment which addresses
the building height limits in the Airport zone and Scenic Route portion of the Airport property. Regardless of
what action the Council takes on this item, the staff recommendation for AB08-21 remains the same.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Act on a Motion to Reconsider.
Provide direction to staff, as necessary.
