The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. The Planning Board, Mr. Dixson, Mr. Koch and Mr. Caputo met to discuss the revisions in the Comprehensive Development Plan for the Town of Gulf Stream. Discussion was held and beginning with page 41, the following revisions were suggested: On page 41 under The Future Plan in the last paragraph at the bottom of the page, it should read - There are no simple solutions to the myriad of ccnelr unity problems that daily occur within a city, but these are limited but no less important in a small town such as Gulf Stream. On page 42 in the first sentence of the second paragraph the word "city's" should be changed to read "town's ". On page 44 under THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN in the second paragraph on the third line (See FIGURE VT should be deleted. Also in the second paragraph on the last line delete "which may have been" and insert "are ". The sentence should read, The result of this plan has been the re- examination and review of pre- vious planning efforts and the placing into textual form the concepts and ideas which are embodied into the present zoning map. Under Land Use Cate- gories, Single Family, the figures 1 to 4 dwelling units should be changed to the figures 1 to 2. In Multiple Family, the figures 5 to 10 dwelling units should be scratched and note made to reflect the new Zoning Ordinances. On page 44A, COASTAL ZONE PROTECTION /CONSERVATION, it was suggested that this entire page be revised to reflect the currect environmental regulations pro- cess and the setback lines required by the Department of Natural Resourses. On page 46 under Plan Recomendations, number 3 regarding the Environmental Suitabilities Composite Map, any references to the map should read "to re- flect the current environmental policies and philosophies that exist ". Also at the bottom of the page under Plan Recommendations, number one, this is to be deleted entirely. At the bottom of the page, number 2 it should read, Promote land use patterns and regulations that provide for the controlled retention of rainwateres on side and allow percolation into the shallow, non - artesian aquifer. PLANNING BOARD MEETING JUNE 14, 1982 Page 2 On page 49 under Plan Recommendation, number 3 it should read, minimize traffic on local residential streets. Institute controls which will keep traffic from adversely impacting residential streets. On page 50 LAND USE. This LAND USE will be updated and rewritten according to our new Town Ordinance. On page 52 under Objective B it should read, To prohibit commercial and industrial land uses within Gulf Stream. On page 53under Plan Recommendations number 1, it should read, The Town should not, by any means, permit the development of commerical activity. Also number 1 under Plan Recommendations in the middle of the page should be reviewed and changed. On page 57 VaTER SYSTEM, this section should be revised and updated to re- flect the present contract with the City of Delray Beach. On page 68 under ECONOMIC /FISCAL number 5 the wording should be changed to read, Maintain a current and ongoing Town Reserve Fund.
