SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Organizers of the Masters World Cup Nordic Ski event are requesting permission to hang a highway banner
to advertise for their event. The event dates are March 1-7, 2008.
The applicant is requesting that the banner be hung two weeks prior to the event, February 18, 2008 and
remain up for the week of their event, for a duration of three weeks.
McCall City Code reads:
3.9.04: TEMPORARY SIGNS: The following signs shall be permitted anywhere within the planning
jurisdiction and shall not require a permit:
(D) Street Banner Signs: Street banner signs advertising a public entertainment or event, if, after the
submittal and approval by the council of an application, and only for locations designated by the
administrator, during and for fourteen (14) days before and seven (7) days after the event.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve request to hang highway banner for the Masters World Cup Nordic Ski Event.
