There .was no ticket given at this time. The board ea iled %r. Van Buskirk, Bodge garage _ an in who stated that he had kept the truck in the garage each night that it was in ht possession and on the morning of the blizzard he had run the truck out in the vacant lot behind to make enough room for some cars of his which ha3 been out all night and which he dra itted after thawing them a little .This was about 7:30 AM. The storm continued for some time. The truck was run in again that evening and out the next morning as before. The truck was hauled away by Lrr.Haney with a wrecker.O He stated further that he did not think there was any chance of the truck being frozen enough after that time to be broken. It was decided that as long as r . Haney or his lawyer did not come before the board that the matter be left to them to do as they wanted to and that it might been be taken up with the town Att' y Kelly. Venable nioved,Pullm.er seconded:To adjourn subject to the call of t the Mayor.Motion carried. a7rkichtviki--7 April 18 1940 269 Mayor This meeting was called to order at P.I.5 to consider a letter from Att'y Bays the attorney of Mr. Haney which stated that suit would be filed against the Town and 1r.Aa.c Kenzie if there was no action taken to recompense Mr.Haney for the unlawful holding of haneys truck and the freezing of the block while in possession of the town. Fullmer, Jordan,Sanden,Venable and 7idmaier present.. nderson absent. It was decided to tae the matter up with :Att' y Kelly.lzayor Molander and Mr..idmaier were to go to Greeley the next afternoon. A Iebition was read for retaining Mr.luabaum as night marshal and tabled for an indefinites time and investigation. Jordan moved,Sanden seconded3To have celotex put on the libaraary basement ceilings M.E.Smith offered to donate the material if the town paid the labor of 35.CC.Motion carried. Clerk Regular meeting kidg, AA, May 7 1940 )Mayor The meeting was called to order at 7:a . .by the iiayor. Those present were:Anderson,Fullmer, Jordan,Sanden,Venable and didmaier. The clerk read the minutes of the regular meetingof April2 and ca it e meeting of April 15 & 16,which were approved as read. Ernest Bever asked the board to change his dray license.Fullmer moved, Fidmaier seconded:To give Ernest Bever the same drayage c�rivil as the other drayman.Motion carried. The clerk reorted that Eaton paid their health officer 10.00 per month and Iilidsor paid for services rendered. An application from Br. Jarrnin was read. Venable moved, Sanden seconded:To reappoint Dr.Anderson as health Officer at the salary of 10 rer month."potion carried. rordan moved,Fullm.er seconded:That signs be put on the two business block, limiting parking of trucks for more than 30 minutes:Motion carried.The sign were to read "Trucks and tra i leis , 30 min.arking.'� It was decided there should be two signs on each side of each block. The park committee were instructed to buy a large hand lawn mower. Sanden rnoved,Pullraer seconded:To reappoint =Vm.Kelly as town att'y. Mollion carried. The clerk read ordinance 101, concerning the imponnding of stray chickens and 102 r_rohibiting the sale aof firecrackers and fire works in the town limits.
