A special meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman Mayer at 9:00 a.m. to continue the discussion of the Canprehensive Zoning Ordinance. Mr. Caputo reviewed the document with the Board members and said there were a few items which needed further discussion. Mr. Rabsamen suggested that the tennis court and pool setback along with the lighting regulations should be addressed and Mr. Caputo said there should be a General Maintenance requirement of all properties and also a Private Out- door Recreational Facility regulation to include all outdoor recreational fac- ilities. Mr. Caputo noted that elevation to or above any new residential construction shall be elevated to or above base flood elevation and shall be defined as set forth in the Town Map. Mrs. Gwynn suggested the new plans reflect that Variance requests should appear before the Planning Board and then go on to the Commission. Discussion was held on garages, storage roans, portable, movable or mobile units and their setback requirements followed by a discussion regarding the clarification of the definition of words and Mr. Rubsamen said he would re- view his architectual manuals and dictionarys and send his findings to Mr. Caputo. The question of illegal parked vehicles (trucks) was addressed and Mr. Caputo said he would work on this Ordinance again with Attorney Randolph. It was sugg- ested by Chief Greer that anyone wanting to park his vehicle should get a per- mit from the Police Department thus allowing the Police Department better cov- erage of the Ordinance. Mr. Caputo asked if the Board would like him to put the discussed recommended changes into a second draft form. He also said there was another step - defi- nitions - which should be included in the final draft before it is submitted to the Commission and the Planning Board members agreed with this procedure. There being no furUier business, Chairman Mayer adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m. 1
