SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Historic Preservation consists of five members appointed by Council. Currently, there are two openings
on the Commission. Advertising for the openings has been ongoing for approximately two years, with
notices in the Star News and at the Library, City Hall, and post office. Four inquiries have been received, but
only one letter of interest. Karla Hambleton has submitted a letter of interest to serve. The Commission has
reviewed Ms. Hambleton's resume and recommends that she be appointed to the Commission. Her resume is
attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Karla Hambleton to the McCall Historic Preservation Commission, to a term to expire in
February, 2011.
