SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Spectra Productions is requesting to hang a highway banner to advertise for the McCall Home Show. The
McCall Home Show features new and creative home ideas and exhibitors related to home improvement
projects.
The event dates are June 7 and 8, 2008. The applicant is requesting to hang the banner May 23, 2008
through June 9, 2008.
McCall City Code reads:
3.9.04: TEMPORARY SIGNS: The following signs shall be permitted anywhere within the planning
jurisdiction and shall not require a permit:
(D) Street Banner Signs: Street banner signs advertising a public entertainment or event, if, after the
submittal and approval by the council of an application, and only for locations designated by the
administrator, during and for fourteen (14) days before and seven (7) days after the event.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve request to hang highway banner for the McCall Home Show.
