SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Because of increasing costs of maintaining the golf course mostly associated with the increase in fuel
prices, the Golf Advisory Committee and Staff recommend that City Council raise golf rates.
Last year we left the rates the same as the previous year while the other courses in the area raised their
rates. We increased rounds last year but not enough to cover all budgeted costs.
In order to maintain the quality of the course that our golfers have come to expect we will need to
increase fees.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve 2008 rate structure as recommended and adopt Resolution 08-6.
