Called meeting
Regular meeting august 6, 1940.
At 7:4C E.I. the �.-:.ayor called the meeting to order with the following
members present :Anderson,Ful lmer, Jordan, anden, Venab le and,' Iidmai er.
Some Mexicans wwre present and asked the board if they could hold
sore public dances so they might raise enough money to put on their
celebration the 16th of ept. After these men left there ;.as some
discussion about the matter and it was decidednotto permit them to
hold these dances and that they could have only one day for the celebration
Some of the Ldons club and the Library board were present and asked
if it would be alright to put n an electrie stove and some shelving
in the library bas ement .They also a shed that the 2nd and 4th im onda,
nights be reservedfor the Lions club.They were granted this privilege
It was decided to have Oliver Shaw test for water in the Larson
field.
The minutes of the regular meeting of vuly 2 were read and azroved
as read.

This meeting was called bythe i:ayor to consider testing further west
in the Larson field.All the rnembers present excelt Jordan.
It ;/as decided to make another test and should it not turn out
better than the rest then there should be a well put clown at one of
the first holes.

last hole.

Mayor
Mayor is o Lander called the meeting to order at 7:45 i . M.
Anderson,Fullmer, Jordan, Sanden, Venable and jidrnaier present.
Mr.Molander stated that he had been talking to ir.Larson and he thoug
that some agreement couldbe made with ir.Larson bbout putting down a we
veil.
It was agreed by the board that they would put down a test well on
the second test they had made. They would allow Lr.Larson so much mone y
each year for the use of the ground but that he shouldgive there a deed
to the ground on which the well wbu1d be tut down in case it proved
satisaactory.
Sanden moved,Venable seconded :That the mayor and ._Jat er Committee
be disignatedto meet with Lr.Larson and make some kind of a deal.
