RESOLUTION NO.2020-004
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN,IOWA
Whereas,The City recognizes a request from Tiffany Earl,JR Cedar Rapids Holdings
LLC,to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa,and
Whereas,the location map,known as the'Lundt'property,is attached to this resolution;
and,
Whereas,the Planning&Zoning Commission recommended approval of the
annexation on a 3-0 vote at its September 18,2019 meeting.
Now,therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
date of public hearing for February 4,2020,to discuss the annexation of the'Lundt'
property.
On the 7th day of January,2020,at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,Tiffin,
Iowa,Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO.2020-004,A
RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN,IOWA and made
a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Olney.
Ayes: Schnedler,Bartels,Havens,Olney
Nays: None
Absent:Walls
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO.2020.004,A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE
FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO
THE CITY OF TIFFIN,IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 7th day of January,2020.
