HomeMy Public PortalAboutPRR 15-1923From: Chris O'Hare [mailto: chrisoharegulfstream @gmail.com) Sent: Monday, August 17, 2015 4:48 PM To: Bill Thrasher <bthrasher @gulf - stream.org> Subject: Asking again - GS #1914 (public notice of 2nd reading of ord. scheduled for Aug 14, 2015) Dear Custodian of Records, On April 5, 2015, I requested to inspect a public record. In my request I explained that I have searched The Palm Beach Post, the Town's website pages titled AAgenda, Notices and Calendar, and I have visited Town Hall to inspect the display cabinet by the front door searching to find any Public Notices which are required to alert the public of their opportunity to speak at the second reading of the proposed ordinances scheduled to be considered for adoption by the Town Commission on August 14, 2015. I have also searched http: / /floridapublicnotices.com/ looking for this record with no success. You responded on April 7, 2015 (forwarded herein) by directing me to your website where I found what appears to be the draft of the notice. This record is attached for your reference. At the bottom left of this document appears to be instructions that this notice is to be published in the Palm Beach Post on July 31, 2015. I looked again in the Palm Beach Post and I still I can't find the the published Public Notice of this upcoming proposed 2nd reading of two ordinances. My original request was for: The public notice for each of the two proposed ordinances scheduled for second reading and to be considered for adoption by the Town Commission in nine days on August 14, 2015. I consider a public notice to be a notice published for viewing by the public. The record you provided to me is apparently a draft created prior to the information being published as a Public Notice. For purposes of clarity I will ask again but in a different way for the record I wish to inspect. Please provide for my inspection the public notice as published by the Palm Beach Post for each of the two ordinances considered for adoption by the Town Commission on August 14, 2015. Your prompt response will be appreciated.
