A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE NATATORIUM RESTROOM RENOVATION PROJECT, PROJECT NO.
4011.67.898 AS BEING COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on January 27, 2009, the City Council awarded a contract to Floor
Covering Unlimited, Inc., in the amount of $36,275 for the Natatorium Restroom
Renovation Project; and
WHEREAS, the project construction started on February 16, 2009, and was
completed on March 13, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost of the project is $29,078.04; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works conducted the final inspection on
March 23, 2009 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans
and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the
Natatorium Restroom Renovation Project, Project No. 4011.67.898 as complete in
accordance with the contract documents, and authorizes the City Engineer to record the
Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of July, 2009.
