SUMMARY STATEMENT:
McPaws Regional Animal Shelter is requesting permission to hang a highway banner to advertise for this
event. This non-profit event is being organized by friends and volunteers of McPaws. The event date is June
21, 2008.
The applicant is requesting that the banner be hung eleven days prior to the event, June 10, 2008 and remain
up through their event and be removed on June 22, 2008.
McCall City Code reads:
3.9.04: TEMPORARY SIGNS: The following signs shall be permitted anywhere within the planning
jurisdiction and shall not require a permit:
(D) Street Banner Signs: Street banner signs advertising a public entertainment or event, if, after the
submittal and approval by the council of an application, and only for locations designated by the
administrator, during and for fourteen (14) days before and seven (7) days after the event.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the request to hang the highway banner for the McPaws Bark in the Park.
