Introduction, public comment, and address April meeting minutes. (5 minutes) 2. Project Updates: Briefly discuss ongoing projects, including the Website, Center Trail to Chamberlain work, Fitness equipment, boardwalks/bridges, shed, and accessibility.(10 minutes) 3. Update on the actions by other boards, committees and trail-centric groups (10 minutes) • OSPC- potential use of bridge material from billboard; Collela land at town meeting • HALT – beaver-related trail loss at Fruit St – help? • Others? 4. Dogs on Trails - We should discuss outcomes of our forum on dogs on trails held May 1, 2024 and from town meeting and consider next steps. (15 minutes). 5. Trails Committee organization – We sent a draft charge for our committee to the Selectboard last October and have yet to hear anything from them. What should be next steps? (10 minutes) 6. Budget. We will discuss the current budget, available funds for this fiscal year, and the planned budget for next year, including expenditures for maintenance mowing at Pratt, Hughes, and any other locations. We should also vote on approval of any bills that need to be paid. (15 minutes) 7. Trail Volunteer Day: The May workday involved work behind the Center School, including placement of a boardwalk and trail clearing for a trail to the base of the rockpile. Other volunteer work we’re directing is two senior Capstone projects to construct bridges and dewater a section of trail behind Elmwood Farm. The June workday will be June 1 and could include a second take on the Fruit Street Trails worked on in March plus clearing a kids trail in the spruce (Christmas Tree) grove. Suggestions encouraged!
