SUMMARY STATEMENT:
ITD is requiring the City to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with them for the new replacement traffic
signal as part of the Mission Street turn lane project. The State bears the sole responsibility for the cost of
this signal, and the City will take over ownership of the signal once the project is completed. The City will be
responsible for the energy charges to operate the light, but the State will be responsible for changing the
bulbs on an annual basis.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 08-18 to approve the Cooperative Agreement and authorize the Mayor to sign all
necessary documents.
