SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Shane Jeffries and Frankie Romero, USFS, will brief the Council on the status of the USFS direct purchase
process for the parcel adjacent to Riverfront Park. A draft Notice of Intent for A Direct Sale and draft
timeline will be provided.
Shane Jeffries is the current McCall District Ranger. Frankie Romero will become the Acting McCall
District Ranger on September 29.
It is anticipated that a purchase agreement will be executed in the spring of 2009 and the purchase will be
completed in FY10.
