SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Special Olympics World Winter Games has submitted a road closure request pertaining to the Special
Olympics Festival which is to be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2008. On November 20, 2008 Council
approved the request for the Special Olympics Festival, suspended the noise ordinance, and approved the
fireworks display permit.
