Their interest in the building has been appraised and set at $160,000. The FY09 budget includes $160,000 in the Council budget (10-41-200-702) for this purchase. This item was originally placed on the October 23 agenda, but was withdrawn to make revisions to the final documents. Those revisions are being finalized by the City Attorney and the attorney for the Fire District. Final documents will be provided to the Council on Monday November 3. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the Agreement for the purchase of the former Fire Station building and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
