SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Representatives from Mile High Marina and McCall Gas Station, Inc. will give presentations of their plans
for a new or expanded marina. Following the presentations, there will be the opportunity for public
comment. Although this item is not formally a public hearing, staff recommends conducting the meeting as if
it were a public hearing.
The Council held a work session on August 1, 2008 and received background information regarding marina
development between Legacy Park and Brown Park. On August 14, the Council again discussed the matter
and heard from Deborah Nelson representing Mile High Marina, and John Carey representing McCall Gas
Station, Inc. as to why each of them should have the opportunity to submit conditional use permits and
design review applications for a new marina.
