SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At the September 25 meeting, the Council received a draft copy of the Agreement of Intent for a Direct Sale
to purchase the property adjacent to Riverfront Park from the US Forest Service. The Agreement is the next
required step in the process to acquire the property. An appraisal will be completed and the City will have
the opportunity to purchase the property for the appraised value.
Attached is the final Agreement of Intent for a Direct Sale. The Agreement is ready for Council action.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Agreement of Intent for a Direct Sale and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
