SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Special Olympics World Winter Games has submitted requests and applications pertaining to the Special
Olympics Festival which is to be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2008.
Please see the attached memo for the Summary Statement.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Approve the request and suspend the noise ordinance.
2. Approve the fireworks display permit for the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2009 and
authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
