Holiday Hours at Town of Leesburg Facilities
No trash or yard waste collection on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.
Leesburg, VA (December 19, 2017) – In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day
holidays, hours of operations will be adjusted at certain Town of Leesburg facilities.
Leesburg Town offices will close at noon on Friday, December 22, 2017, and will be closed on
the following days:
Monday, December 25, 2017
Tuesday, December 26, 2017
Monday, January 1, 2018
The Leesburg Town Hall will be open for public restrooms on Saturday, December 23, 2017,
from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ida Lee Park Recreation Center’s holiday hours are:
7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve
Closed on Christmas Day
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve
12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on New Year’s Day
The Thomas Balch Library will be closed Friday, December 22, through Tuesday, December 26,
and Saturday, December 30, through Monday, January 1.
There will be no trash or yard waste collection in the Southeast and Southwest quadrants of
town and no trash collection in the Historic Downtown on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.
SE/SW residents will have trash, yard waste and recycling collected on Thursday, December 28,
and Thursday, January 4.
