SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City's 2000 lease with the McCall Fire Protection District for the site of the current fire station allows
the City to purchase the District's portion of the former fire station for replacement cost. Their interest in the
building has been appraised and set at $160,000. The FY09 budget includes $160,000 in the Council budget
(10-41-200-702) for this purchase.
This item was originally placed on the October 23 and November 6 agendas, but was withdrawn to make
revisions to the final documents.
Attached is a final draft of the Agreement.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Agreement for the purchase of the former Fire Station building and authorize the Mayor to
sign all necessary documents.
