SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The application is a Conditional Use Permit for the replacement of an existing outdoor kennel facility. The
proposed reconstruction will consist of 10 individual kennels under the new open-air structure, which will
be located in the same location as the existing, to -be -removed structure. The new kennels contain no
utilities and will only be used temporarily (e.g. while cleaning the indoor kennels), and not for permanent or
long-term animal storage.
On December 1, 2009 the application was heard, at a public hearing, before the McCall Area Planning and
Zoning Commission. At that meeting, the Commission recommended the application for approval by the
City Council.
The complete land use file is available for review during normal working hours in the Community
Development Department located at the McCall City Hall, 216 East Park Street, McCall, Idaho 83638.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve CUP-09-07 subject to the attached Findings and Conclusions.
