SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Artists Connection is requesting permission to hang a highway banner to advertise their Shore
Lodge Art Show. The event will be held November 28th and 29th, 2009 at Shore Lodge.
They have requested the banner be hung from Nov 16th through Nov 30th 2009.
McCall City Code reads:
3.9.04: TEMPORARY SIGNS: The following signs shall be permitted anywhere within the planning
jurisdiction and shall not require a permit:
(D) Street Banner Signs: Street banner signs advertising a public entertainment or event, if, after the
submittal and approval by the council of an application, and only for locations designated by the
administrator, during and for fourteen (14) days before and seven (7) days after the event.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve request to hang Highway Banner for the McCall Artists Connection.
