THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE GRAND COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT,
a body politic in the County of GRAND , organized and existing under the laws of the
State of Utah, with its principal office at 264 South 400 East , City of Moab County
of Grand , State of Utah, Grantor, hereby GRANTS AND CONVEYS to the CITY OF
MOAB , at 217 East Center Street, Moab, Grand County, Utah , Grantee, for the
sum of TEN ($10) Dollars, and other good and valuable
considerations,
A perpetual easement, upon part of an entire tract of property situate in the Southeast
Quarter of Section 1, Township 26 South, Range 21 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian,
Moab City, Grand County, Utah, for the purpose of constructing and maintaining sidewalk
and appurtenant parts thereof to facilitate the Moab Safe Routes to School project, known
as Project No. F-R499(277), PIN No. 14340. This easement includes the right to maintain
and continue the existence of said sidewalks as constructed. The easement shall run with
the real property and small be binding upon the Grantor and Grantor's successors, heirs
and assigns, and includes and conveys all rights of Grantee to maintain the sidewalk.
The boundaries of said parcel being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of 100 East Street (Engineer's Station
64+15.15 and Offset 30.00 feet Right), said point being located S.88°48'20" W 1655.02 feet
along the section line and N.01°11'40"W 1096.93 feet from the Southeast Corner of
Section 1, Township 26 South, Range 21 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian and running
thence N.01 °00'04"W 210.73 feet along the Easterly right-of-way line of said 100 East

Street to the Southerly right-of-way line of 300 South Street (Engineer's Station 66+25.87
and Offset 30.00 feet Right); thence N.89°02'04"E 25.64 feet along the Southerly right-of-
way line of said 300 South Street (Engineer's Station 66+25.86 and Offset 55.64 feet
Right);thence S.01 °00'04"E 8.56 feet to an existing fence (Engineer's Station 66+17.29 and
Offset 55.64 feet Right); thence S.48°48'08"W 27.83 feet along said existing fence
(Engineer's Station 65+99.33 and Offset 34.38 feet Right); thence S.00°55'53"E 184.19
feet (Engineer's Station 64+15.15 and Offset 34.16 feet Right); thence S.88°59'56"W 4.15
feet to the Easterly right-of-way line of said 100 East Street and the point of beginning.
The above -described parcel contains 1,275 square feet or 0.029 acres, more or less.
