AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ADOPTING PAY RANGES
AND AUTHORIZING SALARY ADJUSTMENTS FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT COMMAND
STAFF, TO ALIGN WITH THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT WITH IAFF
LOCAL 671.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Jefferson adopts the following classification and pay ranges
and authorizes the City Administrator to make salary adjustments for Fire Command Staff
(excluding the Fire Chief) to align Command Staff compensation with the methodology for
compensation utilized for the IAFF Local 671 Collective Bargaining Agreement, including
the paramedic incentive.

Section 2. The City will utilize the existing budget allocations to address and adjust
Fire Command Staff wages, with additional funding to come from Public Safety Tax.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
